🔧 Installation Guide

1. Ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting.
2. Remove the valve cover and timing chain cover, and rotate the crankshaft and camshaft to align timing marks.
3. Remove the camshaft bearing caps and take out the old camshaft.
4. Clean the camshaft mounting area and bearing journals in the cylinder head, inspecting for wear or damage.
5. When installing the new camshaft, ensure timing marks are aligned and apply engine oil to the bearing journals.
6. Install the camshaft bearing caps and tighten bolts evenly to the specified torque.
7. Verify that the timing marks remain aligned to confirm accurate valve timing.
8. Adjust valve clearance to specification (cold engine: intake 0.08-0.10mm, exhaust 0.10-0.12mm).
9. Reinstall the timing chain, tensioner, valve cover, and other components, then start the engine and check for proper operation.
10. It is recommended to replace the timing chain and tensioner simultaneously for optimal valve train performance.
